red robin and 1.5 feet o’ snow

Well, it's Sunday, but it sure doesn't feel like it, because today Church was canceled due to the foot and a half of snow we received! Whoa. So this winter, we've had about 3 feet of snow total. Global warming… pffff.

Yesterday, the store didn't close before my shift started at 9am, so I trudged there in the snow. I was the only employee to show up besides one manager, and two hours later, we closed. So back home I went! It was good to have a day to work on some homework and do a little baking- Michael was happy because I made both brownies and rolls from scratch =)

I also did some photo fixing-up yesterday, which is why you see a wedding photo up there.

About a week ago, we went to Red Robin to celebrate our 8 month anniversary of being married! It was my first time there, and despite the fact that it's really a burger joint and I hate burgers, I did enjoy myself… probably because I ate a chicken wrap. Haha! Anyway, our date nights always turn out great so that's no surprise.

Oh! school started since the last time I wrote on here. It's crazy busy so far (Michael thinks this will be his hardest semester thus far, and I'm taking 17 credits, trying to play catch-up with my double-major). But it is nonetheless fabulous. I'm learning a ton of things I'm going to need to know if I want a farm of my own one day. Which, I do! I'm also thinking of being on the Horse Judging Team this year… we'll see what happens!

12 days until my birthday!!

job!!!

Welll I have awesome news for you, although you probably already figured it out from the title of this post.

I GOT A JOB!!

working at a bookstore downtown.  I am so so so so so excited!  I'm gearing myself up to be super busy these next couple weeks, with finals and working and Christmas and then before you know it, it'll be next semester.  Time sure flies doesn't it?

And, 6 months ago today is the day that we began our life together <3 . I am so thankful for such a caring, compassionate husband who always supports me in all that I do, and is always beside me (usually trying to make me laugh!) I couldn't ask for anyone better, because, well, there is no one better! =)

So not too much else has happened since the last time I wrote.  I'm just getting so super excited to go spend Thanksgiving with my awesome inlaws! It will be fun/amazing/fantastic/etc.!

I've been working on my sewing abilities (or lack thereof).  I am improving though… I think.  So, I made this cutesy little sleeping bag for my pigs:

Sadly, Maggie is too fat for it.  Juni likes playing with it though.

interview!

Well, not too much has been happening lately because well… we haven't really done anything too exciting.  BUT today I had a job interview at the Aquatic center- I feel like it went well, which is a plus.  So wish me luck!  I'm really hoping to get this job!

Michael is also developing a project of his own- a site that will find all your textbooks for school at once.  It's pretty neat and A LOT easier to use than the bookstore sites.  It should be out later this week, so keep your eyes peeled.

And if you're wondering, Juni and Maggie have become best friends.  They play and snuggle and even share their veggies.
