(written June 11th)

Kaya is almost nine months old, and for the most part, she is still not really interested in solid food. I’m not really worried about it, especially since her pediatrician said that as long as she’s nursing, she’s fine. Still, I would like to see her eat a little something, and last week, we had two days where she actually swallowed a few bites!

We tried applesauce (with a little cinnamon), peanut butter, and corn. Peanut butter is definitely the favorite out of those options! She does like Cheerios, so she had some of those, too.

She was so ready to get out of the chair by this point!Yay for a few (baby) steps in the right direction!
