There is no doubt that one of my very favorite parts of going camping is the food. Hot dogs roasting on sticks; marshmallows catching on fire (well, mine usually are. Isn’t that how everyone does it?)

I’m probably a hazard to the forest and everyone around me when I try to make s’mores over a campfire. So, if you’re anything like me, these “s’mores cookies” might be the solution to your troubles! I made these this weekend for our date night, and they were a big hit. In fact, the recipe made so many cookies that we couldn’t possibly eat them all, so we shared with the neighbors. If you don’t have four stomachs or friendly neighbors, I’d probably cut this recipe in half.

We even tried to make a tent in our living room, but got tired and gave up. We’re lazy campers! Oh well, maybe next time!
